Colin Binns

Hi my name is Colin Binns I have been with Grimsby Hospital Radio since 2001.

And the main reason why I do Grimsby hospital radio every week as some years ago my wife was taken ill and the hospital trust looked after very well and still do, so that is the main reason why I do it week after week.

Also I like being around people and the staff at GHR are great and enjoy their company.

I have worked up the ranks until either 2015 or 2016 then I was given the chance to become Assistant Station Manager which I enjoy greatly being part of a team.

The part I bring to radio is that in my youth, which was a long time ago, I used to do mobile discos and outside broadcasts. I enjoy listened to radio stations and the first time I got some car stickers when I wrote to a radio station and they sent the radio group car stickers I thought was brilliant.

And for the future of GHR I hope it will grow from strength to strength.
